location

I am located in Rochester Hills, MI which is located in the Metro Detroit area. I am originally from Alpena, MI which is in Northern Michigan. I am more than willing to travel! I actually love it when families ask me to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! I will travel for free up to 15 miles from my location. If it is further than that, I charge $0.80 per mile.

time of day

The absolute best and preferred time to start a portrait session is just before "Golden Hour" to achieve that beautiful dreamy lighting! "Golden Hour" is considered to be at sunrise or starting two hours before sunset. Times can change depending on the season and event. So if possible, I always recommend starting a session at these times!

my style

I’m a natural-light photographer and I love to use the outdoors as my studio. My style is light, bright, soft and dreamy and I love capturing the moment for how it is! Being a natural-light photographer means that I use the sunlight and open shade to capture the moment, and tend to stray away from artificial light as much as possible.

We've all been to some downright beautiful big ballroom style weddings. But maybe that's not your vision for your wedding day. That is OKAY!

An elopement is SO much more than just going to the local courthouse with a couple witnesses. It's devoting an entire day to the love you both have! You heard me right, an ENTIRE day! Elopements can be just as long as regular wedding days, and should be! I want to capture your small and intimate elopement wedding!

For the fun-loving senior, whether high school or college, wanting a fun, laid-back photography experience!

Your senior year is a big deal! It marks one chapter closing and another one opening. You deserve to document and cherish this time in your life! This may be a stressful time in your life, but your senior photos shouldn't be that. When you look back at your senior photos in 10 years time, you can appreciate the memories and how far you've come since then!

Family photos are the best memory you can give yourself and your loved ones. I want to document your growing family in a place that's meaningful to you! Your favorite park, a spot in your hometown, or even in your own backyard! And if you want to include your fur babies as well, that's even better!
